Toledo Hornets Volleyball Club is a Christian athletic organization. While we do not all share the same cultural background, we come together united under the basic principles of the Christian faith.

The type of character we wish to nurture and instill in our girls is represented in the following verses:

Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everyting in the name fo the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Philippians 2:3-4 "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

2 Corinthians 5:30 "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as thought God were making his appeal through us."
